Apple Music,
Heard Through Culture and Product
At Modern Weekly, I was responsible for music editorial planning and worked on Apple Music-related content across the year, developing topics that connected artists, albums, music scenes, and listening behavior with Apple’s product experience. Rather than presenting features such as Dolby Atmos, spatial audio, sound quality, and playback experience as technical specifications, I translated them into culturally relevant stories for Chinese lifestyle readers. The work helped position Apple Music not only as a streaming platform, but as a richer way to discover music, understand artists, and experience sound through mood, atmosphere, and everyday listening moments.
